Illinois native Ellen Crawford (Nurse Alice Stanton) played Nurse Lydia Wright on the NBC series ER.  Recently she had a recurring role in Desperate Housewives, and has guest starred in Mental, Without a Trace, Boston Legal, The Division, 7th Heaven, CSI, among many others. Film credits include Man From Earth, War of the Roses, and Soldier.
